Dr. Cheng Chih-Wen holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Cheng has acted as Director for both the Photoelectric Product Management and Photoelectric R&D Technology Departments at Optoma Technology, Inc. He has also served as Manager of the Broadband Network System Department in the Computer and Communication Lab (CCL) at Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). His broad professional experience includes work and product design in

areas as diverse as digital multimedia systems – from production systems to set-top boxes to high-performance VOD networks, broadband networking and digital telecommunication – from cable modems to Internet telephony gateways, I2O-based network server design, as well as serving as a member or representative at a variety of international standards organizations – such as the IETF and DAVIC (TC Subsystem).

Erik Reid holds a MS from the Applied Mathematics Department at Carnegie Mellon University. He has developed and managed software and network system projects for a variety of products, devices and environments. His professional experience includes work with broadband networks, multimedia network applications and satellite-based digital network and video systems.
